hiker’s haven

With Spring just around the corner, I’m amped to get outdoors and soak up the beautiful weather. This ‘Good Friday’ was an unreal, sunny day so I thought I would take full advantage and decided a hike would be my best bet. So off I went to Webster’s Falls in Dundas, Ontario (For those of you near by…I totally recommend it! It’s amazing).

Prior to deciding to go, I had no idea the falls existed or where they were located. So for me it was a new and foreign adventure (Exciting, right?). It turns out, the view was amazing and finally being able to see the waterfall after hiking for a little while was one of the most rewarding feelings. Yes, there were several moments where I thought I was going to lose my life and fall down a 15 foot bank. But…I didn’t!! So, it was the perfect amount of adventure for me. Which is why I’ve decided to take up “hiking” as a new hobby. Apparently there are a lot of cool waterfalls and trails around my area, that I’ve never even taken advantage of! So I thought, why not? It’s time for a new and exciting pastime. Plus it’s amazing exercise! So this Spring/Summer, I really want to make it a goal of mine to try and get out once or twice a week (depending on work) and hike with friends or family! I’m already so stoked for it.

Here are a few pictures I took throughout the day:
