an indecisive battle

Who knew the creation of a blog would consist of so many complex decisions. When I started this process I definitely thought it was going to be a ‘wham, bam thank you ma’am’ kind of deal. Turns out it took me a little longer to develop the basics to my “online diary.” This probably has much to do with the fact that I’m quite possibly the most indecisive person ever!

First, the development of the name was trickiest of all. Ideally, I wanted something young, fresh and new. Did I think it was going to take me essentially an entire day or two to think of it? Of course not. But, finally it came to me while I was hanging out with my best friend and listening to my home girl Kelly Clarkson. Voilà! Confessions of a Beautiful Disaster was born. And needless to say, I’m quite pleased with it.

Just when I think I can get this show on the road, I realize that I have to pick a website “theme.” You all need to know something…trying to figure out what theme to pick is the equivalent to a girl trying to pick her outfit for a big date. It basically went something like this:

“Oh this one looks so cute!”
“Let me try this one out…Oh, EW”
“I think I really like the original one I picked.”

2.5 hours later, I manage to make my final decision. (Fun fact: My choice was hugely based on the movie Up! – I’m not 5 years old or anything). I’m sure at some point during my blogging experience, it’ll change. But for now, I’m sticking with it.

Now all that’s left for me to do is entertain you all. No pressure right? Stay tuned for all my rants and rambles that are to come.

It’s been peachy!

xo.
